The NAPCRG Annual Meeting is designed with plenty of networking/socializing opportunities for attendees. Please take advantage of them! Opportunities to expand your network include coffee breaks, receptions, daily yoga and plenty of space for meeting up with friends and colleagues. 

Welcome Reception

Kick off the eve of your 2017 Annual Meeting experience right at the Welcome Reception. Mingle and catch up with your colleagues, make new acquaintances, and have fun, while enjoying lite fare and refreshments.

First-Time Attendee Orientation

Is this your first time at the NAPCRG Annual Meeting? Been a while since your last one? THIS IS THE SESSION FOR YOU! Members of Membership Committee invite all new NAPCRG members and first-time conference attendees to attend this short presentation. It will start with a short introduction to the conference with many helpful tips and pointers on navigating the conference and key networking opportunities. Followed by roundtable discussions with seasoned NAPCRG members. This is an excellent way to meet new people at the start of your NAPCRG conference adventure as well as to meet seasoned NAPCRG leaders who will be there to welcome you.

Networking Luncheon

This is the Annual Meeting’s central networking event. A buffet lunch and dedicated networking time offer a way for you to reconnect with old friends while making new ones. Relax, socialize and add to your list of professional contacts.   

Poster Walks

Poster Walks are themed walks that take place during select poster sessions at the Annual Meeting and feature different topics and methodologies. They are ideal for students, residents, and fellows who want to network with experts in the field.

Special Interest Group Networking

Various NAPCRG Special interest groups meet over breakfast each day in the main hall where conference attendees can informally meet and discuss a highly relevant, shared topic of interest. 

Health and Wellness Activity

Join your colleagues for this wonderful way to unite the body, mind and spirit. Beginners encouraged to attend! Wear clothes that are easy to move in and bring a large towel. Space is limited, please RSVP when registering.

Dine Arounds

Enjoy a mouthwatering meal at one of Montreal’s great restaurants. Whether you’re traveling alone, a first-time attendee, or just looking for a great meal, join a dine around! Reservations will be offered for tables to seat 8 for dinner Monday, November 20. The reservations are filled on a seat-by-seat basis to offer automatic dinner plans, networking, and great food all in one. Attendees are responsible for their own meal costs. Sign up onsite at the registration desk. 

Happy Hour for Students, Residents, & Fellows

NAPCRG will host a Happy Hour for Students, Residents and Fellows on Saturday, November 18. This is a great opportunity for students, residents, and fellows to network with each other and the leaders of NAPCRG in a relaxed, informal environment. Light fare will be served.

International Attendee Reception

The International Committee invites attendees to a reception on Saturday, November 18 to connect with colleagues from around the world while enjoying light fare and refreshments.

Evening Event

This popular event is one of the Annual Meeting’s premier happenings and a NAPCRG tradition. Mingle with your fellow attendees at the evening celebration on Monday, November 20, featuring hors d’oeuvres, sweet bites, and a cash bar. The celebration includes a DJ, dancing, and a photo booth to document the fun times. The evening event is included with your registration, additional guest tickets are available for purchase during registration.
