Back to NAPCRG History Table of Contents

From 1997 through 2001, NAPCRG, in conjunction with Pfizer, offered the Pfizer Investigator in Practice Award. This award selected one outstanding practitioner researcher each year to be designated as the NAPCRG Investigator in Practice, and that person was provided financial support to devote approximately 10% time to research, and to promote the practitioner's participation, presentation, publication, and leadership in primary care research. One recipient each year received a $10,000 stipend, reasonable travel and lodging to attend one NAPCRG Annual Meeting, and an award certificate.
