the meeting. No more lugging that heavy laptop around in your suitcase!
Just bring your presentation loaded onto a USB drive or a CD-ROM,

Alternative
Hotel Options for NAPCRG 2006
The Hilton El Conquistador is sold out over the dates of the 2006
NAPCRG Annual Meeting (Oct 15-18). NAPCRG has investigated two alternative
hotel options for you.
The Hilton will allow attendees using alternative hotels to use the
Hilton’s resort amenities, eg, pools, wellness center admittance,
tennis court time, etc.
(1) Omni Tucson National Golf Resort & Spa, 2727 W. Club Drive,
Tucson, 520-297-2271. This hotel is a AAA four diamond resort comparable
in quality to the Hilton El Conquistador. The room rate is $165 per
night, and the resort fee of $12/day has been waived. Please indicate
you are with the North American Primary Care Research Group meeting.

Amenities include a championship golf course, business center, unlimited
use of the fitness center, world-class spa, lighted tennis courts,
two sparkling pools, three restaurants and four-diamond accommodations.
Note that the property is 7 miles (approx a 15-minute drive from the
Hilton). The hotel does not have a shuttle service so you would be
responsible for your transportation to the Hilton. Taxis are approximately
$10 each way between the Omni and the Hilton. Discounted car rental
information is shown below.
(2) The Holiday Inn Express, located at 10150 N. Oracle Road, Oro
Valley, AZ 85737. This property is approximately a 5-minute walk from
the Hilton. This is a less-expensive option and is not as upscale
as the Omni Tucson. For reservations, call the front desk phone at
520-202-4000 or Holiday Inn Reservations at 888-465-4329. Amenities
include an outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast, Kids Eat Free, etc.
We do not have a block reserved with this property or a group rate;

Car
Rental Information
Hertz is the official rental car provider for the NAPCRG 2006 Annual
Meeting. Special discounted rates beginning at $40 US/day and $168
US/week are available 1 week prior through 1 week after the conference

Ground
Transportation Information
The Hilton El Conquistador is approximately a 40-minute
drive from the Tucson International Airport. Transportation can be
obtained by taxi service; however, taxi service is unregulated in
Tucson, so pricing can range from $50-$60 one way. A better suggestion
is to print out and complete the Tucson Airport Transportation Form
and fax it back to the resort. The resort will provide transportation
for $35 + tax each way per person. This is a dedicated service, not
a shuttle, and you will be met in baggage claim with signage. Click
