Please note that the Sheraton is now completely sold out. We have negotiated a special rate for NAPCRG attendees to stay at the nearby Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver. NAPCRG proudly presents Art, activism, and disability are the starting point for what unfolds as a funny and intimate portrait of five surprising individuals. Director Bonnie Sherr Klein (Not a Love Story, and Speaking Our Peace) has been a pioneer of women's cinema and an inspiration to a generation of filmmakers around the world. SHAMELESS: The ART of Disability marks Klein's return to a career interrupted by a catastrophic stroke in 1987. Always the activist, she now turns the lens on the world of disability culture, and ultimately, the transformative power of art. For more information, click here. Evening Event at the Sheraton: Celebrating the Olympic Spirit NAPCRG is known for throwing a great party at its annual meeting, and this year will follow that same tradition. To celebrate Vancouver's hosting of the 2010 Winter Olympics, NAPCRG's 2007 conference party will use the Olympics as our theme. We'll start things off with a reception to give you some time for conversing with fellow research colleagues. Following the reception, the Sheraton chefs will prepare a great sit-down dinner. We're going to bring in a band to play a variety of dance music that will make all the NAPCRG dance fans want to twist and shout! While this evening of food and entertainment is included as part of your conference registration fee, you must mark the appropriate place on the registration form to reserve your spot for the event as well as to purchase guest tickets, if applicable. Additional guest tickets will be $66 US, $72 Can. We'll offer a meal for kids ages 5-12 for $25 US, $28 Can. Children under age 5 may attend and eat for free.
