Registration Cancellations - 2022 NAPCRG Annual Meeting
Fifty percent of the conference registration fee will be refunded if a cancellation is necessary and written notification is received in the NAPCRG office no later than October 18, 2022. After the specified date, no refunds will be issued, except in cases of personal medical (non-COVID related) or weather emergencies.
NAPCRG does not refund membership fees.
Refund requests due to medical (non-COVID related) or weather emergencies at the time of the conference may be eligible for a 50% refund. If registrant is unable to attend because of a weather emergency, registrant must show that they attempted to reschedule their travel arrangements but could not get to the conference during the official conference dates. In the event of such a cancellation request by a conference registrant, the registrant must provide NAPCRG with official documentation to support their request. Conference Discount Statement - 2022 NAPCRG Annual Meeting
Thank you for your interest in attending the NAPCRG Annual Meeting. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to extend further discounts in the registration fee. We have done our best to hold fees steady for patient partners, students, residents and fellows compared to previous years. The registration fees increased quite a bit for other researchers this year.
We realize that there continue to be challenges in attending in-person meetings given inflation and travel expenses, the continuing pandemic, reductions in institutional support and limited external funding and grants. Like other membership organizations, NAPCRG has been challenged too. Hosting a meeting at a hotel is more expensive than hosting one virtually.
This is a re-building year, and we are excited to gather under one roof to share research insights and to celebrate NAPCRG's 50th anniversary. As we envision our next 50 years, we are committed to expanding access to NAPCRG. Specific actions include online and virtual opportunities for programming and fundraising to fund scholarships. These actions will take time to develop, and I realize they don't provide immediate solutions this year. Our next meeting is scheduled for October 30 - November 3, 2023 in San Francisco, California and we hope you can join us then.
Accommodations for Attendees in Developing Countries
NAPCRG is committed to developing its global footprint. In the past for virtual conferences, NAPCRG has sometimes been able to offer some financial assistance for registration fees to those attendees who are based in a developing country (as defined by World Organization of Family doctors).
We realize that there continue to be challenges in attending in-person meetings given inflation and travel expenses, the continuing pandemic, reductions in institutional support and limited external funding and grants. Like other membership organizations, NAPCRG has been challenged too.
This kind of assistance is much more limited in 2022 as our expenses for an in-person conference are more considerable than those of virtual meetings. Please share details about where you are coming from and describe your situation so that we can have this evaluated by our Executive Committee.
Equal Opportunity Statement
NAPCRG is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for participants regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, or other protected status. NAPCRG events are working conferences intended for professional networking and collaboration.
If you require special assistance onsite, please contact NAPCRG staff onsite during the meeting or email us with questions firstname.lastname@example.org.
